I had a fantastic experience at Moustache! The value for money was great and the room had a beautiful Arabian nights feel. The location was convenient, close to the fort and market. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Jamsher bhai, who made my stay comfortable and was always there for me.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.

I absolutely loved my stay at Moustache in Jaisalmer! The hostel had a beautiful Indian palace-like ambiance that made me feel like royalty. The private room I stayed in was stunning, with a huge and comfy bed, a spacious and luxurious bathroom , and powerful AC to keep me cool in the desert heat. The location was perfect, right across from the fort, and there were plenty of options for dining nearby, even during low season.
I do wish there had been a kitchen or some place to eat in the hostel, as it meant I had to go out for food all the time. Additionally, although the staff were friendly and helpful, there were instances where they were not always available at the desk, causing some waiting time when I needed assistance.

Location - unbeatable, amazing view of the fort, nearby street food. Staff - superb, amazing, mind blowing, especially Pradeep Bhaiaya. Food - exceptional, good prices, own restaurant and rooftop cafe. Cleanliness and rooms - fantastically clean, big washrooms. Common area - superb for socializing with other travelers. Safari - private dunes, amazing experience, no crowd. Heritage building - unique accommodation, great vibe. Terrace - lovely, offers great view of the fort.
Nothing at all.

The hotel was a beautifully renovated ancient building, providing modern facilities while maintaining its old charm. The view from the room was breathtaking, allowing us to see the entire city and the Jaisalmer fort. The breakfast served was delicious, giving us a homely feel in the courtyard. the location of the hotel was perfect, being within walking distance of the fort and other attractions.
The credit card machine was broken, causing inconvenience when it came time to pay. This information was not properly communicated, leading us to scramble for cash and almost miss our bus.

I recently stayed at Moustache in Jaisalmer for a few days. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. The double room I stayed in was beautifully decorated, spacious, and the bathroom was very practical. I loved being able to sit in the quiet and peaceful reception area with a book or my laptop. The hotel's location just outside the city walls was perfect, with only a short walk to reach the city center or the bus station. Additionally, the hotel offers a safari experience that was enjoyable, thanks to the informative and friendly guide.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect, just outside the fort and within walking distance of all the major attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The AC in the rooms was a great bonus, especially considering that some properties in India only turn it on at night. The bathrooms were clean and spacious, with a good shower.
There were occasional electricity shutdowns during the day, which was a bit inconvenient. It would have been better if they provided a heads-up about this beforehand.
